Call your local animal shelter to file a missing pet report. Make sure to also visit the shelter to see if your pet was picked up.

Check local parks or food sources like restaurants and grocery stores.

Place flyers around area schools. This is a high traffic area where more people will see your pet.

Call local Veterinarian offices to see if someone brought your injured pet in.

Look high and low for your missing cat. In trees, under porches, etc.

Not everyone has internet, place a missing pet ad in the local newspaper.

Place a sign in your front yard, so neighbors will know to look out for your pet.

Enlist help! Have family and friends go around neighborhoods to look for your pet.

Place their food and water outside. Place a camera to monitor any activity.

Beware of scammers, ask if they can verify distinctive markings or characteristics. Meet in a public place to retrieve your pet.
